Kiltsa
I am a Tsimshian/Haida/lakota from Melakatla, Alaska. which is a tsimshian indian reserve on the Southeast pan-handle of alaska. Growing up in metlakatla I learned many things and among those where my traditional arts, which included drawing, weaving, beading, blanket making, an carving. I was also lucky enough to have a heritage that include my grandmother a lakota women from mission South Dakota. so when I got older I actively learned the Plains style art as well. As a Native I am devoted to keeping my tradions alive. In addition I take my knowledge as a native artist an do contemparary art with a native feel. I am currently living in Corvallis, OR
